SOCAR Head Office is looking for a Senior Engineer (Economics) for Gas infrastructure management and improvement Department.

Main job responsibilities:
Evaluation of projects related to the modernization and expansion of the Gas Storage Department (QAİİ) and Gas Export Department (Qİİ), providing support in the preparation of the full set of documents required for the final investment decision, and giving feedback on the prepared documents.
Preparation of prioritized proposals for the modernization of the transmission network and enhancement of its capacity, and support for their integration into the budget program.
Active participation in the preparation and approval process of project assignments and technical specifications for project implementation.
Coordination of the execution of official documents (orders, directives, assignments, requests, opinions, etc.) received from government agencies and relevant executive authorities.
Oversight of the approval process for Qİİ and QAİİ investment projects at various development stages, in accordance with SOCAR HQ corporate investment regulations.
Analysis of Qİİ and QAİİ annual work plans and budgets, and preparation of feedback at the segment level prior to approval.
Review and provision of feedback on KPI-8 reports for projects implemented under the Qİİ and QAİİ annual work plans.
Execution of daily administrative tasks and document circulation related to the department’s operations.

Job requirements:
Higher education in Economics;
3 years of work experience as a specialist in the relevant field;
Conducting economic analyses;
Oversight of the budgeting process and its execution;
Documentation and planning in accordance with investment regulations;
Rules of business correspondence;
Azerbaijani and English languages.
