Main job responsibilities:
☑️ Conducting comprehensive financial analyses, including sensitivity and scenario analysis;
☑️ Developing and maintaining advanced financial models to assess investment opportunities;
☑️ Assessing the fair market value of potential investments and recommend strategic actions;
☑️ Preparing screening reports, memos, synopsis on investment opportunities;
☑️ Assisting management and stakeholders with preparation of LOI, SPA and other documents;
☑️ Working closely with legal, compliance, and finance teams to address regulatory and contractual requirements;
☑️ Conducting internal due diligence on potential investments, critically assessing the accuracy and reliability of financial information;
☑️ Formulating clear and well-supported investment recommendations based on comprehensive analyses;
☑️ Presenting investment proposals, highlighting key insights and potential impacts.
Job requirements:
☑️ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields;
☑️ At least 3 years work experience which should include 1 year experience as a senior;
☑️ Knowledge in Corporate Finance;
☑️ Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, quantitative analysis, and data analysis;
☑️ Strong research skills to stay updated on economic indicators, market trends, and geopolitical events that may impact investment decisions;
☑️ Ability to apply quantitative analysis techniques to assess risk and return metrics, including statistical analysis and scenario modeling;
☑️ Mastery of various valuation methods such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transactions to assess the intrinsic value of investments;
☑️ Proficiency in building and using complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, assess risk, and make informed decisions;
☑️ Professional user of MS Office (especially PowerPoint, Excel);
☑️ Strong research, financial modelling and data analysis skills;
☑️ Communication, critical thinking, teamwork, time management skills;
☑️ Fluency in Azerbaijani, English. Russian is desirable;
☑️ International certificates are desirable.
